During the 1870s, an esoteric movement arose in Western Europe. The Theosophists, the New Thought movement, Spiritualism and Spiritism, and other esotericists were developing metaphysical movements largely rooted in Eastern religions and philosophies. While the term “Akasha” has historical, cultural context in India, our understanding of it has evolved over the last century.

The Akasha precedes humans. Similar to the concept of God, the Akasha has a consciousness that is bigger than culture and religion; it doesn’t belong to any one culture or religion and it has been accessed by many peoples throughout the world, although it might not be called the Akasha or Akashic records. It is a consciousness that wants itself to be known and be made available to all.

The Akashic consciousness continues to evolve and expand through our awareness and relationship to it. All of us are meant to experience and be in relationship with the Akasha.

While I implore your curiosity and openness to new experiences, I also encourage self-trust: if you feel that the records are not for you at this time, that’s also perfect.

I received my first Akashic record reading from Jaison in 2019. It was one of the most transformational, inspiring, unforgettable healing experiences I’ve ever had. Several months later, we met at Vista Hermosa Park where she taught me how to read for the first time.
